Metal curves at Experience Music Project

The Frank Gehry designed Experience Music Project (EMP) building

is a work of art

and an endless source

of photographs

Experience Music Project – Seattle, WA

This Frank Gehry building is a photographer’s dream.

Interesting shapes, that change when the light changes.

White arches at the end of their day.

Queen Anne street in Seattle

Here’s a classic Seattle scene, driving up the Queen Anne Avenue hill.

My Prius likes to slowly ascend this hill

giving me time to survey the sights

and snap a picture

or two.

Overhead power and bus lines in Seattle

Whenever I go to Seattle my eyes drift upwards to see all the wires overhead. I find all these lines mesmerizing.

Do we need them all? What would happen if I got out my eraser and erased a few?
